That message persists when you have manually activated the retarder. Check your settings for the retarder increase/decrease keys and hit the decrease key in-game for a few times. As far as I understand, this is a bug. If you press the apostrophe key, it should go away. I use my xbox 360 controller. The problem is that when i accelerate, to let say 90km/t, when releasing the gas pedal , the truck instant brakes hard. How do i fix this, if i can? :) My cruise control is still set up on C key but when i try to activate it i see the message : retarder activated on my route advisor but the speed go down, it doesnt work like it use to. One, is to set cruise control. second, is to resume. Resume button does not work, unless you set it first. You also have to turn off retarder and engine brake first. You have to drive above 30km/h in order to activate Cruise control as well.
