🕺 God Of War Review Reddit

The gameplay is where it really sucks, every enemy is the same except the new one has a shield or shoots fireballs, incredibly uncreative. And the bosses are horrible, each one is a troll of a different colour and some annoying gimmick that’s not fun to fight against. Even the non-troll bosses were just tiresome, the Dark Elf guy in Alfheim His whole arc in the original games paints him as a broken man with an insatiable lust for vengeance. GoW (2018) is essentially both a continuation and a soft reboot for the series. Fatherhood has softened and matured Kratos somewhat, but his past comes back to haunt him again and again. That is a terrible idea, he is 57 and Kratos is built like a greek statue, plus Kratos has to be ash white or at least look like he is covered in ashes all the time. I mean, no matter who they cast, they’re gonna need to paint the dude. After all, he’s not “I grew up in Sweden” white, he’s literally unnaturally ashen. It's pretty clear that Cory is the secret sauce at Santa Monica. He had way less to work with on 2018 yet made something 100x more epic. Ragnarok's team had a developed combat system and all kinds of incredible story/character setup, yet couldn't make something half as compelling. The script was so grossly Marvelized. The gameplay is just so goddamn fun and tight, and the big moments really hit super well. I just wrapped up Ragnarok around 40 minutes ago and man, I love that game to death. But even so, God of War III, there's nothing else like it in terms of how grand that game is in scale and how every boss battle is better than the last. djZHMA.
