My VW Golf mk 4, 1.6 for no reason will cut out / stall, no warning given but full set of warning lights will show and my power steering is dnied once it restarts, it just has 60,000 miles done and always serviced by VW garage. Please, can anybody advise me. I had similar problems with a Bora 1.6 a few years back, also intermittently cut out when slowing on motorway off-slip.
